Contributed digital matte painted environments for current slate of animation projects at studio utilizing Maya, PhotoShop CS2, Vue 6 Infinite, and proprietary software. On "Kung Fu Panda" spearheaded creation of 360 degree environments utilizing Vue 6 Infinite for base painting and camera projecting in Maya.

"Obviously, matte painting for animation has a more stylized approach than for visual effects. You can push the boundaries of color, mood, and design. The directors and production designer wanted landscapes which were rooted in Chinese art and design."
