hey guys,

so my diffuse maps don't appear when the sun (spotlight) in my scene isn't hitting it. below is the render tree. what am i doing wrong?

Does anybody have any recent news on when CrossWalk will be available for the 64 bit version of Max?
Our company is looking to implement XSI in our pipeline, but this is holding us back!

im just doing some morph target stuff ( correctives over bone poses ) using the shape manager and everything is working fine.

I have 2 questions.. well its actually the same one but for 2 different reasons

im getting lots of extraeneous green "affected points" showing in the manager. For example... continues

Does anyone use Foundation for large scale productions?
We are considering moving our pipeline to XSI and are planning use mostly foundation seats for animators, and only get Essentials and Advanced for the leads in each department. This is what is making it particularly attractive and affordable to me.

Does anyone know how to access geometry info in XSI using Python? I.e. if I have selected a piece of geometry, how can I get a list of all of its vertices, edges, and polygons?

thanks, Richard...still having an issue just installing it via File->Add-on->Install (I can find the addon, but the 'install' button is greyed-out)...if I install by just dragging into viewport, it shows up as an installed addon, but the MindThink toolbar doesn't exist for me to even access. Never had a problem installing 3DQuakers or squid's UVLayout plugins...prolly some newb error on my part t... continues

still @ justa_newbie Oh, and be sure not to be at frame 1 when moving the base, as its the reset frame. Say if you go at frame 5 and then move the spring base. Should work fine.

Hi Luc-Eric! I´m writing a script to change materials from selected materials from material manager (via selecting shaderbals). but, xsi don´t log any selection. i want to get materials visually, from materials manager. how to get selection from shaderballs via script (jscript)? thanks in advance!
