A new section in the CG Explorer Guide helping students to choose a Computer Graphics school to learn skills dedicated to the following application fields: illustration, digital arts, filmmaking, visual effects, advertisements, television, videogames. Finally I am starting to use this dedicated section to collect resources useful to the CG community.

ShareCG just opened. It’s a new website allowing cg artists and creative people to upload their works and to earn some money out of it. I decided to register and I gather some more information besides what is contained in the press release.

Maybe the best film I watched in year 2006. This 7-minutes documentary tells some of the “behind the scenes” about the filmmaking and the special effects. The long takes and the visual style of the film do really makes “Children of Men” an innovative work.
