(Davide Pesare): My time in Australia had come to an end, and I was among the people that decided to move before being forced to, as in those years less and less work was being granted to Australian companies. I decided to move to a place with higher technical expertise. My pick was London. It has a lot of talents, and the dynamic nature of the local market in our industry scrambles them around Soho, where most companies established themselves. Living and working there is an experience in itself, as you can meet truly amazing people and learn a lot from them, either at work or, more often, at the pub. My choice was The Moving Picture Company (MPC), and the reason was that I was going to be working with a 40 people department of research and development, where I could have earned a lot of experience.
