World’s first HDR video contest by BrightSide Technologies
BrightSide Technologies Inc. runs an HDR video contest aimed at anybody interested in CG and digital video who would like to create HDR content. The winner will be awarded with an all expenses paid trip to SIGGRAPH 2006 where his entry will be presented on our HDR display with appropriate credit to the editor.
The content requested is basically defined by a high contrast ratio, high bit-depth and high resolution.
Some entry guidelines (hey these are not offcial visit their website to be safe):
- The video shall have a minimum of 20 seconds
- Your entry must have at least 16-bit depth or must have been scanned into 16-bit format.
- The resolution should be 1920×1080 or 1280×720.
- The content should be HD compatible and feature a contrast ratio of at least 1,000 :1
- Please submit the entry in MPEG-HDR format. BrightSide Technologies Inc. will provide the necessary software after the mandatory registration.
- Videos with sound are encouraged but judgement will be based exclusively on video content.
