it was not long after getting a BA (HONS) in Three Dimensional Design at the KIAD of Rochester (UK) that Thierry DoiZon fell into the weird World of VideoGames. He started as a Concept Designer in 1995 at Cryo Interactive. Then came his Quantic Dream’s period in which he took charge of the Art Direction on “Quark”, but during this time, he also worked as a Freelance Artist for different companies like Peugeot, Canal+, Carapace, Strass or Atari. In 1999, He joined the young Development Studio of MASA on Conflict Zone edited by Ubisoft. January 2001: along with 3 other friends, Thierry decides to embark upon a new Odyssey, with the creation of SAVOIRfair an interesting dive into the hidden face of the industry. September 2002 and thanks to his old bot Vyle he left for the far, far west… joining Acclaim Studios in Austin, TX. Fall 2002 Thierry switches his boots for some fish’n ships and arrives in London to work for Splash Damage.Ltd on Quake Wars: Enemy Territory. He then moved later to the Pinewood Studios working for a Production company named Digi-Guys as the Art supervisor. One year later and too much rain, Thierry needed a fresh perspective on his career so he took the opportunity to join UBISOFT in Montreal as a senior Concept Artist and is now part of a very exciting project.
