CG Channel published an article on self-promotion tips and guidelines for digital artists. There are suggestions about what to do when creating an artist’s website: avoid Flash, use a simple and usable user interface for navigating your image / animation portfolio, carefully select works to include in your portfolio, provide videos and animation in the correct format and length. Some good examples are included to illustrate the principles exposed. Very good reading for aspiring digital art masters and beginner, animators, 3D modelers and illustrators.
